We will meet in the south parking lot at Renton Memorial Stadium, (no restrooms) navigate around the Landing and head north. We will make a small detour for restrooms and water at Coulon Park after about 2 miles, then head north again using Washington Blvd SE and the Mountains to Sound Greenway Trail, crossing the east channel on I-90, then around the bottom of Mercer Island clockwise. We will cross the Mercer Island Lid and stop for lunch before retracing our route counter clockwise back to I-90 and down the east side of Lake Washington and to Renton again. We will start each Mercer Island loop together but cimb the rollers at our own speed, regrouping again before pedaling up to the top of the lid and, on the way back, before entering onto the bridge.
We will wave at the gorilla at mile 11, because he will be too hard to see in the bushes on the way back.
Please RSVP by clicking on the red "Register Now" button under the ride title above, then checking the box for "Waiver Signature". This will save us time at the start. Note that the on-line RSVP requires a Cascade Bicycle Club account, which is easy to set up, but if you don't want one of those just come anyway and sign the hard-copy attendance/hold harmless sheet.
The listed phone will not be answered after 9:00am on the morning of the ride. If weather conditions meet the "Showers cancel" criterion, I will post a ride-cancelled note in Comments, below, at least 2 hours prior and not go to the start. If the weather looks iffy, please check here before leaving for the ride.

We could do just one loop and head back to Renton if clouds are threatening.
The hourly forecast has
The hourly forecast has improved and I think we have a dry window for this ride. We will, however, delete the lunch stop to make sure we get back before the predicted rain/thunderstorm time. Bring some fuel. We will stop briefly on the Mercer island lid at the restrooms before making our return trip.
