Attendance at the pre-ride safety briefing is required to participate in the ride.
If you have tested positive for COVID or have been exposed to someone with COVID, follow the quarantine and isolation guidelines. In general, if you have COVID or are displaying COVID symptoms, or if you are sick with the flu or a cold, you should not participate in group rides.
Carry a face covering in case a business or public transit requires their use.
Please, no spitting or “snot-rockets” while participating.
A CPSC certified helmet is required to be worn to participate.

Bring your camera and your climbing legs and join us for a 16.9 mile, 1365' elevation gain ride as we bike to Volunteer Park, the Cal Anderson Park reflecting pool, Homer Harris Park, Plum Tree Park, William Grose Park, Secret Beach, Lakeview Park and Interlaken Park. Along the way, we will have multiple climbs including a few that are optional for those who want the extra challenge. Those not wanting to do the extra climbs will get a few minutes rest break. We will also visit several scenic viewpoints. We will re-group on the tops of all major hills. Afterwards, we'll head to the Nickerson Street Saloon for food, drinks and socializing for those interested.

Please note that the start time for the ride will be 5:30 PM due to the sunset getting earlier.

Please arrive at least 15-20 minutes before the start time to get your bike set up, sign the waiver, and to listen to the safety talk.

I will not be at the ride start should conditions be as noted in “Showers Cancels” above. In addition, the ride may be cancelled if the air quality remains poor. I will announce the cancellation in the comments section below at least 2 hours prior to the ride start and will monitor my phone and/or email listed in the contact information. If you have questions about the weather, please call (or email) before you leave for the ride.
