This is the annual social/relaxed ride to the Fall City United Methodist Church soup/roll/drink/homemade pie and bake sale. A little bit of nostalgia put on by church volunteers with homemade food. You need to bring cash 7-9$ in smaller bills. It is important to ride together on our way to lunch so that we all eat at the same time and are finished at the same time. Faster riders need to stay with the leisurelyt group to lunch. After lunch we can divide the group if necessary to fit different cycling styles. Some will go totally on flat roads on the return, others might go a few miles longer and faster on a back road with short hills. The leader will be with the leisurely group. All may stop at an organic farm. This event is in October this year so the farm should be open.
Please NOTE: we do have to cross a very busy highway and ride over 2 bridges going and returning (even those using the flat route.) Young children on their own bikes would be a safety problem. If there is heavy rain we will meet in Carnation and drive to lunch and talk cycling. If there is ice/snow in the Edmonds/Woodinville/Duvall area the leader will not arrive as it will be too dangerous for her to drive from Edmonds, up over the hills to Carnation. You must look at the radar weather maps on TV/computer/etc and make your own decision. You can always drive to the Church, lunch starts at 11:30.
