Note the new MUMPS starting point!  Parking at the old location Logboom Park has become a problem, so we are going to try starting the ride from the parking lot of Woodinville Sports Fields, which is right across the street from Wilmot Park with its bathrooms and water. It's about 5 miles east of Logboom, via the trail.

This is a moderate pace (14-16mph) version of MUMPS. This week's ride heads north to Snohomish and then to a lunch stop in Monroe, and back to Woodinville. In view of a potentially hot day, there's an alternate 34-miler that cuts out the Monroe loop. Decision may be made at the start, so if you want to be sure of having the route with you, download or print both. The routes and cue sheets are at the links below.

We will regroup frequently, including at the top of hills. Good idea to copy my phone number so you can contact me if you have a problem while off the back.

Please bring plenty of water and sunscreen, and be prepared to take care of flats or minor mechanicals, and have a way to get yourself home or back to start in case you are unable to complete the ride.

In case of cancellation the ride leader will not be at the start and a cancellation notice will be posted in COMMENTS below at least two hours prior to start.

In case it affects someone's decision, I am leaning toward the shorter (alternate) route. The nasty head cold that put me out of commission last Monday still has some grip. It's making me tired.
