- Attendance at the pre-ride safety briefing is required to participate in the ride.
- If you have tested positive for COVID or have been exposed to someone with COVID, follow the quarantine and isolation guidelines. In general, if you have COVID or are displaying COVID symptoms, or if you are sick with the flu or a cold, you should not participate in group rides.
- Carry a face covering in case a business or public transit requires their use.
- Please, no spitting or “snot-rockets” while participating.
- A CPSC certified helmet is required to be worn to participate.

This pretty 60 mile moderate country ride starts and ends at Lewis Street Park in Monroe, and will have an elevation gain of approximately 3300'. After rolling up and down some nice hills on quiet roads north and east of Monroe, we will drop down to US-2 in Sultan. We will stay on US-2 for approximately 6 miles before turning off at Gold Bar. We will then climb up the back roads to Index for a lunch break. Pack your own lunch or buy some things at the Index River House restaurant. On the way back we will do a side loop to Kellogg Lake to keep us off of US-2 longer. From Sultan we return to Monore via Ben Howard Rd. Cue sheet can be printed off from link below.
Please don't park in under the trees near the restrooms at Lewis Street Park. Let's leave that for the families visiting during the day. We'll park south of the restrooms in the parking area along Highway 203, toward the river bridge.
Ride Leader will cancel by 7:30 AM if it looks like rain. Check the website before you leave home!
To save time and to make the sign-in process much easier, please register for this ride. If you already have a Cascade account make sure you are logged in and click the <Register> button at the top of the ride description, then make sure to check the box indicating you have read the Waiver & Release, add your emergency phone number and click <Save Registration> button. Don’t worry if you can’t make the ride, you needn’t unregister. If you don’t have a cascade free rides account, consider setting one up it only takes a couple of minutes and doesn't cost you a thing. If you’ve pre-registered all you need to do is check off your name at the start of the ride – no lengthy sign-in procedure. Make sure you are registered by 7:00AM on the day of the ride.
