  • Attendance at the pre-ride safety briefing is required to participate in the ride.
  • If you have tested positive for COVID or have been exposed to someone with COVID, follow the quarantine and isolation guidelines. In general, if you have COVID or are displaying COVID symptoms, or if you are sick with the flu or a cold, you should not participate in group rides.
  • Carry a face covering in case a business or public transit requires their use.
  • Please, no spitting or “snot-rockets” while participating.
  • A CPSC certified helmet is required to be worn to participate.

They're back!!! The The Blues are back. We'll ride up the hill from the Newport Hills P&R, back down to the lake, over the East Channel bridge and do a lap of Mercer Island before arriving at a prime viewing area roof deck at about mile 21. We'll relax, have lunch on the deck and watch a great show. After the show, we'll return to the starting point. Coffee and cold water will be provided but bring your lunch. Fair warning: This ride is more about the Blues than the cycling.

Due to smoke and heat, and needing to arrive at the viewing spot in time for the Angels, I have shortened the ride by a couple of miles.  We will do an abbreviated route of the east side and the North portion of Mercer Island.  After lunch and the Angels, we will continue our way around Mercer Island and back to Newport Hills Park & Ride. Restroom stop at  Enetai Park; about mile 8.
