We will cycle from Lowell to Snohomish to Machias on road shoulder and paved trail. On the return a stop at the bakery/sandwich restaurant is yummy, but you also might want to carry a snack for the Machias regroup. There are sani-cans and restrooms at all the stops but no water at the start point.
Directions to Start:
If you drive north on I5 and get off at exit 192 at the 41st st/ Broadway exit,stay left and then turn right to briefly travel east on 41st. Be careful not to go up the ramp and over the freeway to Boadway. Once on 41st turn right/south again on south 3rd avenue. Continue on 3rd street for 1.8 miles (staying to the left as 3rd turns into 2nd) and turn left on Lenora. The intersection of 2nd and Lenora is a 4 way stop, and the left turn will take you down hill. Pass over the Rail Road tracks and immediately turn left into the gravel parking lot.
There is no pre-registration for this ride.
