Come join us midweek for some progressively longer and hillier rides around Bellevue, Kirkland, Bothell and Redmond. We’ll start off with a lot of flat and a mild hill or two.
Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start time to hear the route briefing, safety notes, and sign the waiver form for an on-time departure.
Pace: Riders should be able to sustain 16 mph on the flats. We’ll tackle the hills at our own pace.
Mechanicals: Riders should know how to read a cue sheet, change a flat tire, and have a back up plan if they are unable to finish the ride.
Cue Sheets: Cue sheets will not be provided, so please print your own copy from the route link or download it to your own device.
Equipment: Long fenders are requested if rain is in the forecast. Helmets are required to ride.
Registration: Please pre-register & sign e-waiver (register button right below the ride title) so we can save time at the ride start. Note that this on-line RSVP requires a Cascade Bicycle Club account, which is easy to set up, but if you don't want one just come anyway and sign the hard-copy attendance/waiver sheet.
Cancellation Policy: Ride cancellation will be posted in the comments section below at least two hours prior to the ride start. In the event the ride is canceled the ride leaders will not come to the ride start.
Parking: Please DO NOT park your car in the small lot. There is ample street parking available on the NE 12th Street.
Restrooms: At start. Planned (optional) restroom breaks at miles 16.2 (Blyth Park) and 39 (QFC). Coffee break at mile 25.2 (Starbucks). As always, please carry enough food and water.
