Why ride from the southlands to Magnuson? Why, for lunch, of course! This Sunday, there will be a gathering of food trucks at Magnuson Park for a Food Truck Round-Up.  Magnuson has a view of the Lake, so it's a perfect occasion for another Liquid Lunch.  We'll ride out of the Kent Park and Ride lot off of James St, roll the Interurban Trail up to Renton, and then head up through Seward Park and the Arboretum.  The Burke-Gilman will take us to Magnuson, where we'll have a chance to check out a variety of cuisines before heading back from whence we came.

This will be a Moderate paced ride, and we'll regroup after climbs.  Steady rain will cancel; in the event of a rain cancellation, I will try to post at least two hours prior to ride start.  In case of cancellation with two hours warning, I will not plan to be at the ride start.  As with any ride where we may be away from bikes for a bit, a lock is a great idea.  Come join me for a lunch adventure!

Comments

I've made a small revision in the outbound route to avoid Rock and Roll Marathon street closures.  We'll come over the hill above Seward Park on Wilson Pl and 50th Ave S to stay off of the closed portion of Lake Washington Blvd S.  Thanks!
