KEEPING RIDERS SAFE

- Attendance at the pre-ride safety briefing is required to participate in the ride.
- If you have tested positive for COVID or have been exposed to someone with COVID, follow the quarantine and isolation guidelines. In general, if you have COVID or are displaying COVID symptoms, or if you are sick with the flu or a cold, you should not participate in group rides.
- Carry a face covering in case a business or public transit requires their use.
- Please, no spitting or “snot-rockets” while participating.
- A CPSC certified helmet is required to be worn to participate.

A flat ride from Three Friends Fishing Hole Park in Kent going to Sumner. We will use the Interurban and Green River trails for part of the ride and the remaining will be on streets thru Algona, Pacific, and Sumner. There will be a 20 minute stop at Starbucks in Sumner
It will be dark on the return trip so Headlight and Taillight required. Recommend your Headlight is at least 500 lumens.

If roads are wet, the rooster-tails from bare tires are a safety issue for other riders, so please come with real fenders and a long mud flap in back.
Arrive 20 minutes early so you have time to ready your bike, sign the ride waiver, and listen to the Cascade SMART Safety talk.
If weather conditions meet the "Ice/Snow" criterion, I will post a ride-cancelled note in Comments, below, at least 2 hours prior and not go to the start. If the weather looks iffy, please check here before leaving for the ride.
Come prepared to fix flats and have a plan for dealing with mechanicals. Generally the group will not wait for flats/mechanicals so make sure you know the route or have printed a CUE sheet from link below.
Please register for the ride by clicking on the red "Register Now" button under the ride title above, then checking the box for "Waiver Signature" and filling in the contact information. This will save us time at the start.
