"CycloFemme is a Global Celebration of Women created TO HONOR THE PAST from the shoulders of those who stood before us, for the freedom to choose and the chance to wear pants. TO CELEBRATE THE PRESENT with strength and courage, voices raised, moving together. TO EMPOWER THE FUTURE of women everywhere, the backbone of positive social change".

Join the Sirens for this celebration! This ride around Lake Sammamish is 22 miles on mostly flat terrain. We will start at Pickering Farm and go around the lake counterclockwise.

The Ride Leader will be leading a Steady paced ride (12-14 mph on the flats with no headwinds or tailwinds). Those who wish to ride at a faster pace are welcome to do so, but it will then become a self-paced ride for them. Slower riders are also welcome to take the route at their own pace as this is a NO-DROP ride and we will regroup as needed along the way. This ride is about 22 miles long on mostly flat terrain.

The ride will begin at 9:00 a.m., so please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early to ready your bike, sign the waiver and participate in the SMART safety briefing.

Riders are expected to have the following with them: Water, red blinking tail light, a spare tube, a pump and other tools to change a flat tire.  Please remember that it's important to check your tire pressure regularly during the summer (e.g., weekly during the cycling season).

Steady rain cancels and the ride leader(s) will not be at the start.  If weather is such, a cancellation notice will be made in the comments section below at least 2 hours prior to the start time.

You may pre-sign the waiver online by clicking on the "Register" button above, under the ride title, checking the Waiver Signature box, and saving registration. Registering requires a Cascade account and you must be signed in to Register.

Comments

Good morning! Just want to clarify that the start time of the ride is 9:30 a.m. even though it says 9:00 in the ride description. Also, although the weather looks iffy right now, we will be at the start! See you there!

Riding in the CycloFemme Lake Sammamish Loop along with the bunch of other female individuals has given me a very pleasant experience. My friends always get dissertation writing help for completing their assignments. We were talking about certain things while riding.
