MUMPS: Head Up North
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
Summer must be coming, because MUMPS is heading north again!
Note that the pace of the ride is early-season, debris-on-the-roads Brisk instead of the usual Vigorous. If there is no moderate ride listed, we will accomodate moderate riders with more frequent regroup stops.
This ride heads north from Log Boom Park into Snohomish county, with a lunch stop en route. Route may be shortened or lunch omitted if weather is bad. Ride leader will make the route available on ridewithgps.com by late afternoon of the day before the ride, search for "MUMPS 2017MMDD", where MMDD are the month and date of the ride (Apr 3 would be MUMPS 20170403). Since the rwgps search function can take hours to reflect a new public route, it is better to check comments here (on cascade.org) for a link to the route. If in doubt, check here for cancellation due to weather on the morning of the ride.
We often explore new routes. If you are not riding with gps guidance, or if you do not know the area where we are riding, consider bringing a map and a hard copy of the route from the ridewithgps website.
