Help me work off my pie belly! This is an in-city route with a mix of hills, flats and views. We will get warmed up on the hills in Discovery Park and Magnolia then head south to Lincoln Park in West Seattle, up Marine View, east to the Duwamish via White Center and Tukwila, and descend in Renton at the South end of Lake Washington where we head north on Lake Wash. Blvd. to Seward Park then continue north to the Burke Gillman Trail and back to Magnolia. Brief stops at Lincoln and Seward Parks; optional coffee stop at Red WIng if time permits. Pace = LOW END OF VIGOROUS effort level. Regroup on all hilltops, this is a no drop ride. BUT - please look at elevation profile to be sure you know what to expect.
Please join at Discovery Park NORTH parking lot by 9:20AM, we will roll promptly at 9:00 (Make 1st R after you enter the park on Government Way). In consideration of our fellow riders, fenders with buddy flap if roads are wet please. Showers cancel.
