Join us for a series of fun, educational and picturesque rides. Depending on the route, it might be to a historical site or just a ride to a hamburger joint. We plan on taking time for pictures and enjoying the scenery.
These rides will be in South King and Pierce County and will vary in miles and elevation.
Paces offered -- steady (12 – 14 mph on flats), moderate (14 – 16 mph on flats). Brisk may be offered depending on Ride Leader availability. Pace groups will use a common route each week.

Today's Theme - Cities with a lot of History. This ride takes us from Puyallup out to Wilkeson and Carbonado. The route has trails, some quiet country roads, rolling hills, some hill climbing, babbling brooks, old saloons & churches. We'll stop to see the coke ovens in Wilkeson built in 1887, from there it's on to Carbonado where the Carbonado saloon is believed to date back to 1878. Unfortunately we will not be able to partake in any suds at the saloon as it's only open April - October.

Planned Stops (photo ops): Wilkeson Holy Trinity Church, Coke Ovens .. Carbonado school and saloon (two seperate establishments)
Planned Restrooms: Porta Potty approx 15, 20, 30 mile marks
A helmet is a requirement, riders should be able to sustain the pace, know how to change a flat tire (and have the requisite equipment to do so).
Please sign the (FREE) online waiver by clicking "REGISTER NOW", answer a few questions and save. The online waiver will close two hours before the start, after that time you will need to legibly sign the waiver at the start location.

Let's meet at Applebee's after the ride for a bite to eat
Please join us for a bite to eat at Applebees (Bonney Lake) after the ride. This is a great way to get to know everyone and we are hungry after a bike ride. :) http://restaurants.applebees.com/wa/bonney-lake/9430-192nd-st-e.html
Revised route
The forecast calls for rainy and wet conditions during the ride. In the interest of safety, we will shorten the route, turning around in South Prairie. Approximately 30-mile ride with a gentle incline out of Orting. We will still start at the Puyallup Trailhead. Rain gear!!
