We will meet at the South Prairie trail head parking lot at 9:45 for a safety/ride briefing.  We will depart at 10:00 am sharp.  Please arrive on time for the safety briefing with a mechanically sound bike, tires inflated and ready to roll.  Bring plenty of water and nutrition.  Weather is predicted to be wet and cool so dress accordingly and have fenders on your bike.  We will ride from South Prairie through Burnett, Wilkinson and Carbonado.  We will stop for ten minutes approximately 1.5 miles beyond the Carbon River Ranger Station to the bridge that crosses the river.  There is an outhouse close by.   We will return via 165 and then Johns Road into South Prairie.  Moving time is approximately 2:30 (budget 3 hours total). The ride effort level will be 18-20 mph and we will re-group at the end of climbs as described during the pre-ride briefing.
