Cycling in Autumn For Espresso Series (CAFES).  Another cycling season draws to a close.  Now what?  Coffee time!  Bring your rain bike and join us for seven rides in seven weeks on the Eastside.  We ride to a different coffee shop each time, alternating starts between Woodinville and South Bellevue.  This series will help you qualify for your highly sought-after Coffeeneuring patch. Let's relax and get a cup of coffee after training hard all season.

Destination Cafe Ladro in the Sammamish Highlands. Stop is primarilty for bathrooms and coffee, so bring enough food to supplement as needed.

Long fenders are required unless it is bone dry out, and zero percent chance of rain forecast.

Ice or snow or heavy rain will cancel.  If it's raining hard, we may ride anyway, but shorten the ride to a closer coffee shop. The ride leader will post an update if weather looks iffy.

Route changes will be finalized by Wednesday morning before the ride, and cue sheets posted.

Regroups will be occasional, though not at every turn, so please bring a cue sheet or load the route on your GPS. We will always wait at the top of the hills for a reasonable amount of time.

Mechanicals will not stop the group. Please be sure you have the equipment and knowledge to change flats, plus a cue sheet to get home, or a phone to call for assistance if needed.

PLEASE REGISTER for this ride using the registration link above. It's not required, but greatly appreciated as it helps with the sign in process prior to the ride start.

Meetup - Riders are also encouraged to checkout the ride on Meetup as this is where conversation and photos happen.

Ride cancellations: In the event of ice/snow, ride leaders will not be at the ride start. Cancellations will be posted 2 hours prior to ride start and ride leader will monitor for phone calls. If weather looks iffy, please check Meetup or this posting for comments about cancellations.
