Free Group Ride
Calling All Tandems!
Event has already happened.
Tandem riders, join us for a ride specifically designed for tandems! Our up and downhill speeds will be more geared towards tandem dynamics; much faster on the flats and downhills and slower on the uphills. This ride will be more at the high brisk pace.
Single riders welcome but the pace will be have faster downhill speeds and slower up hills than a typical single rider rides. It will be a self-paced event if riders cannot keep the pace. Please bring a cue sheet.
We will cruise along West Lake Sammamish, do a good climb up 164th then head to the back roads of May Valley. Then we will loop back on Issaquah Hobart Road, Newport Way and East Lake Sammamish. There will be some long flat runs which will be perfect for tandem cruising! Rest stop at 25 miles at a country store.
Start Time: 9:00 AM is the roll out time. Please be ready at 8:45 to sign the waiver and listen to the safety and route briefing.
Important info: Please bring a cue sheet and/or upload the route information, onto your GPS device before the ride start.
Wet roads: Please come with long fenders, including a buddy flap, if the roads are wet. Without them, you will be asked to ride in the back of the group.
