  • Attendance at the pre-ride safety briefing is required to participate in the ride.
  • If you have tested positive for COVID or have been exposed to someone with COVID, follow the quarantine and isolation guidelines. In general, if you have COVID or are displaying COVID symptoms, or if you are sick with the flu or a cold, you should not participate in group rides.
  • Carry a face covering in case a business or public transit requires their use.
  • Please, no spitting or “snot-rockets” while participating.
  • A CPSC certified helmet is required to be worn to participate.

Fall is officially here! Time for Fall Cycling. The Fall Cycling rides will go til mid December. This week's route will start at Celebration Park in Federal Way. We roll out going south, then head east to Auburn, before turning north up to Des Moines. Rest stop: Mile 20 Marine View Espresso We head south along the beautiful Des Moines waterfront back to Celebration Park. If you are new rider to Cascade Free Group Rides, we welcome you! Please arrive early enough to sign the ride waiver, hear the route details, and review Cascade riding S.M.A.R.T. We will start promptly at 9:30 am. The pace is Brisk 16-18 mph on flat roads with no headwinds. Please print cue sheets and bring all necessary tools & tubes to handle any flats etc. Bring adequate food and water as there may be limited opportunities to purchase along the way. Planned stop(s): Mile 20 Marine View Espresso We regroup at top of hills. If roads are wet fenders are necessary. Long fenders and buddy flaps are absolutely required unless it is bone dry out, and zero percent chance of rain forecast. Look forward to seeing you!
