This enjoyable scenic country ride provides great conditioning. We ride on the Burke-Gilman trail, and good roads, through Woodinville, Monroe and Sultan. See the attached pictures on the link below. You will need to bring two full water bottles and a snack to eat while riding. Bathrooms available at Log Boom Park, and we will make a bathroom stop at Lewis Street Park in Monroe on the Skykomish River at approximately 20 miles distance, and at the half way point where we will stop at the Sultan Bakery for a snack.  The pace on level pavement is 18-20 mph with no wind, slower up hills, and faster down hills. Climb the hills at your own pace and we will regroup at the top. Riders should have the gps map and/or cue sheet so that they can find their way back if they need to ride much slower than the group.

Please register for this ride using the link so that you do not sign the waiver at the starting location, which improves the registration process.  Otherwise plan to read and sign the wavier. We will have a brief introduction and safety briefing prior to the ride, and then we will ride out. Arrive early so that your bike is ready to ride, and we can finish the safety discussion and start riding at the listed time. The attached gps link below provides a printable, down loadable map and cue sheet.

As with all Cascade Bicycle Club rides be prepared to fix your own flats, wear a well-fitting helmet, and no ear buds.

In the event of steady rain I will not be coming to Logboom Park.
