KEEPING RIDERS SAFE

- Attendance at the pre-ride safety briefing is required to participate in the ride.
- If you have tested positive for COVID or have been exposed to someone with COVID, follow the quarantine and isolation guidelines. In general, if you have COVID or are displaying COVID symptoms, or if you are sick with the flu or a cold, you should not participate in group rides.
- Carry a face covering in case a business or public transit requires their use.
- Please, no spitting or “snot-rockets” while participating.
- A CPSC certified helmet is required to be worn to participate.

We will leave from the Kingsgate Park and Ride at 8:30 AM. Please arrive 20 minutes early for the sign in and ride briefing. There are no bathrooms there, but we will make a pit stop at Juanita Beach Park at 2.5 miles.
We will then go south through Kirkland, up the 520 trail to Medina, Bellevue, and then up 98th hill (short but steep) to Killarny drive to go through Beaux Art Village. Then onto the I-90 trail to to make our way to the coffee stop at the Tully's in Issaquah at 23 miles.
After that we will continue up East Lake Sam, through Marymoor, and then onto Willows Rd. The last climb takes us up to the top of Kingsgate, and then a fast downhill back to the start.
The pace will be moderate, and we will regroup frequently. You should also be prepared to change a flat tire, so please carry your own tools and tubes, and know how to change the tire yourself. The group will stop and help with flat repairs.
I will not be at the ride start should conditions be as noted in “Showers Cancels” above. I will announce the cancellation in the comments section below at least 2 hours prior to the ride start and will monitor my phone and/or email listed in the contact information.
