This week the regular Tuesday TREATS ride heads south for one of my favorite southend routes. From the Renton Community Center we head out the lovely Cedar River trail to Maple Valley then follow hilly backroads to Ravensdale, then use a different route back through Maple Valley for a lunch stop at Lake Wilderness Village (mile 30). We will return on Witte Road and the Cedar River trail with an optional return on beautiful Jones Road. (trail return is possible for those who like). The majority of the elevation gain is in the middle third of this route.
There is a restroom and water at the start location. Please be sure to arrive and be ready to ride by 9:50 so we can do the ride safety briefing and depart promptly at 10am.
In the event of showers or worse the ride leader will not be at the start but will post a cancellation notice in the comments section of this posting by 7am on the day of the ride. It is always advisable to check the ride comments before you drive to the start of the ride.
If you have a Cascade account you may preregister online by selecting the register button at the top of this posting. If your plans change you do not need to unregister.
