Free Group Ride
Log Boom Park-Monroe Lewis Street Park Loop
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
Ride one of the most scenic routes in the Puget Sound area. The route is a balanced mix of flat and some hilly terrain on excellent pavement, which is excellent for conditioning. Featured are the north end of the Burke-Gillman trail, NE Woodinville-Duvall Road, West Snoqualmie Valley Road, Tualco/Lake Crescent Road, High Bridge Road, Fales Road, Paradise Lake/Bostian Road and 240th street.
Plan to arrive at Log Boom Park parking lot by 9:15AM so that you can make your ride preparations, hear the CBC safety briefing, and sign the liability wavier, unless you register online via the "Register" button above. You must have a Cascade account to register online. Plan on departing at 9:30AM. We will go up hills at our own individual pace and regroup at the top.
Be prepared to fix your own flats and make your own adjustments. It's best to have two filled water bottles. Bathrooms and water are available at the starting location Log Boom Park, and at Lewis Street Park. Bring your ID and some money. The group may decide to have a break in Monroe for coffee and a snack. Otherwise plan on a brief stop at the Lewis Street Park facilities.
Cue sheet and map can be printed from the ridewithgps link below. Click on print cue sheet/map. The ride will be listed on Meetup.
Steady rain cancels the ride, in which case the ride leader will not be at the ride start.
