Come and join us for an evening ride from mid April through August. The routes are about 23-28 miles and check out pretty places and views throughout Everett, Mill Creek, Lynnwood, Snohomish Valley, Mukilteo and Edmonds. They are both urban and rural in character.

Directions to the start: Take exit #186 from I-5. Head east 2.6 miles. Turn left onto 39th Ave SE. At the end of the road is the Archbishop Thomas Murphy High School. We meet in the parking lot near the gate.

Route: After the easy and fun celebration of the summer solstice, we are back to some serious pedaling. We will head south and check out how traffic is on I-405 and then just go back.

Note that there are two routes! The Steady group will ride 25.6 miles wiht about 1200ft elevation. The Moderate/Brisk groups will ride 26.7 miles with 1300ft elevation.

Cue sheets are not provided at the start - please print your own copy.

Registration: Your registration on this website is much appreciated. Sign in to your (free) account, then register.

Expectations (important, please read!): Arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of the ride to part of the safety briefing. S.M.A.R.T. riding is the standard and all riders are held accountable for doing their best to adhere to these; we want to be awesome representatives of the bike community in Snohomish County and be safe! Front and rear lights are highly recommended! Riders should be able to maintain the chosen pace. We regroup occasionally. There is no scheduled rest stop. Riders have to be independent when they have a flat and/or mechanical. Please print a cue sheet in case you get separated from the group. All riders are responsible to promote a great experience by having a positive attitude, having fenders when the roads are wet or rain is in the forecast, enjoying the beauty we are surrounded by and just by having fun! Steady rain or other unsafe conditions cancels the ride. If the ride is canceled by 4:00 pm, it will be posted in the comment section. In that case the ride leaders will not be at the start.

From Michael Cunanan:
Hi folks. I have a special announcement. We will have videographers, from trueONE Productions, at Wednesday’s ride. trueONE currently provides real estate video services, but are looking to expand their portfolio to include action/sporting event video services. They have approached me to record one of our rides, and with Cascade’s approval, will be recording/documenting this ride. They might ask you a few questions about why you ride. Also, they will have a drone at key sections of the route, will be stationary at other key locations, and will follow/drive by. They will be recording in a manner that is safe for them and also for us. That’s all the details I have/know for now. I will share more as they become available.

Unfortunately a last minute conflict came up with the videographer's driver and an action video wouldn't be complete without rolling footage. With that said, trueONE will reschedule to record a different SEROW ride. I'll keep this series updated of when that will occur.
