This ride will be high moderate / low brisk pace with regroups at the top of hills.

We'll head out to bucolic May Valley Road and ride Cedar Grove Road to the Cedar River Trail.  We'll hit beautiful Jones Road as we pedal towards Renton and ride around the southern part of Lake Washington where we will stop at the new Stone House Cafe on Rainier Ave for coffee and pastries at their bakery.  We'll then depart for Seward Park and ride along the lake to the I-90 bridge and take the trail back to Bellevue.  Every road (well, almost) is quite beautiful on this ride.

Ride leader mentoring opportunity is available.

In case of bad weather, the ride leader will not be at the start and will post the cancellation here at least two hours prior to the ride start.

Comments

The starting point for this ride is Newport Hills Park and Ride.

Hi, I'm planning to bike to the start from Ballard.  I'll start just after 8:00 (weather update).  Planning to ride most of the loop back to I-90, then drop off and head back to Ballard.  Steve
