Join us for a Brisk-paced (18mph), 55 mile clockwise loop of Lake Washington starting from Woodland Park lower parking lot (adjacent to the soccer fields on Greenlake Way). This ride will give us the opportunity to tackle a couple hills, enjoy the cherry blossoms along the route, and celebrate completion with a donut at Mighty-O in Tangletown. Meet at 0915 for route review and safety brief, then rolling at 0930. Our goal will be to remain together, regrouping as necessary at the top of the bigger climbs. Steady rain at the start will cancel the ride. Please have fenders if the roads are wet or skies are threatening. This route is somewhat urban. As always, we'll ride S.M.A.R.T. and keep our speed under 15mph while on multi-use paths along the way. Ride Leader candidate Marc Slonim will be assiting with today's ride.
