These cold January mornings with sunshine in the forecast will drive me up the wall if I stay indoors. Join me as we pedal up, get the lead out, don the sweats and polish up our riding skills around the bike routes of Everett, Lynnwood, Mountlake Terrace, Edmonds. Let's see how far away we can go and incorporate some fun as well.
Start location: Let's meet at the Lynnwood Performance Bicycle Store.
Reststop: Restroom available at the start and end of the ride. Optional Yogurtland stop for recharge etc.
Expectations: Arrive at least 15 minutes early, or 10:45 a.m., to sign the waiver and hear the safety briefing. S.M.A.R.T. is the acronym we use for a safe and enjoyable ride together. Ride leader personally uses MapMyRide app and will briefly go through the route prior to the start.
Front and rear lights are recommended. Everyone should be able to maintain the 12-14 mph Steady pace on flat terrain. Riders have to be independent when they have a flat and/or mechanical issue.
