It's wintertime, so let's ride the cool and open road! Maybe a repeat of Wednesday weather? The Friday weather forecast calls for more sunshine! Join me in this short 20-mile-or-less sprint and take advantage of the sunny days ahead for 2016.
Start location: Let's meet at the Lynnwood Performance Bicycle Shop.
Reststop: Restroom available at the start and end of the ride at the park.
Expectations: Arrive at least 15 minutes early, or 10:45 a.m., to sign the waiver and hear the safety briefing. S.M.A.R.T. is the acronym we use for a safe and enjoyable ride together. Ride leader personally uses MapMyRide app and will briefly go through the route prior to the start.
Front and rear lights are recommended. Everyone should be able to maintain the 12-14 mph Steady pace on flat terrain. Riders have to be independent when they have a flat and/or mechanical issue.
