The cold 2016 January mornings with sunshine in the forecast will drive me up the wall if I stay indoors. Join me as I pedal up, get the lead out, don the sweats and polish up my riding around the bike routes of Everett, Lynnwood, Mountlake Terrace, Edmonds. Let's see how far away we can go and incorporate some fun as well.

Start location: Let's meet at Paine Field Community Park.

Reststop: Restrooms available at start and end of ride at the park.

Expectations: Arrive at 10:45am or earlier to sign the waiver and hear the safety briefing. S.M.A.R.T. is the acronym we use for a safe and informed ride together. Ride leader personally uses MapMyRide app and will briefly go through the routes summary prior to the start.

Front and rear lights are recommended. Everyone should be able to maintain the 12-14 mph steady pace on flat terrain. Riders have to be independent when they have a flat and/or mechanical issue.

Comments

My driveway is snow laden and will probably thaw by noon....black ice is evident as well in the outlaying areas. Safety issue, will reconvene Wednesday 1/6 @ 11am at diff. Meet up venue.
