We will meet at the trail parking lot behind Whole Foods off of 70th street, a few blocks from the far east parking lot at Marymoor.
I'm hoping for a break in the weather to get a ride in. This will be a 27 mile ride with no stop for coffee or food. Join me as we ride along the east side of Lake Sammamish, up a gradual climb on Newport, through Bellevue College, and then back to the start via Marymoor.
Please bring necessary tools to change a flat and arrive by 9:45 am to sign the waiver and hear the safety talk. We will leave promptly at 10:00 am.
Cancellation Notice: Showers cancel. A message will be posted here in the comments section by 8:00 a.m. if the ride is cancelled.
If you can, please try to preregister for this ride prior to the day of the ride. You can do this via Meetup or the Cascade website. If you preregister via Cascade you do not have to sign the waiver when you arrive for the ride. Below are instructions for registering via the Cascade website.
Step #1 Sign into (or create) a Cascade account.
Step #2 Open this ride announcement and click on the "Register" button underneath the ride title at the top.
Step #3 On the Registration page, check the Waiver Signature release box (please read or review the Waiver & Release by clicking the link below the Waiver Signature box). Don't change the number in the "Spaces" box.
Step #4 Fill in the Emergency phone number space with the number of your emergency contact person.
Step #5 Click on the "Save Registration" button. Now you are registered for the ride.
If you can't make the ride you do not have to unregister.
