We'll be done in plenty of time for you to catch kick-off!
We will ride clockwise around the lake with a quick stop at Coulon for a bathroom break at mile three as there's no facitlities at the start. We'll then head towards Seward Park and ride along the lake to Madison Park where we'll stop at Starbucks for a java fix and pastries (if you desire). We will ride back across Mercer Island. We should be done by 12:30pm. Fenders appreciated if wet weather. Ride leader mentoring opportunity available.
In case of bad weather, the ride leader will not be at the start. If cancelled, it will be posted here two hours prior to the ride start.

Change of route...
Due to the Seattle Marathon using much of the same course as described above, I'm changing the route to ride through the back streets of Bellevue, over to Marymoor Park where we will stop at Peet's Coffee in Redmond (near Whole Foods) before returning via East Lake Sammamish and Newport Way. RIDE CANCELLED
It's 24 degrees in Issaquah with below freezing until noon. Frozen fog alert. Just checked the roads around my house and it is definitely slick. I'm not willing to take the chance. The ride is canceled.
