Invitation: It's Autumn, let's blow the leaves behind and ride the open road. Extended Wednesday, 10/21 weather forecast calls for sunshine!. Join me in this short 20 miler or less sprint and take advantage of the limited sunny days ahead for 2015. On this particular route, we will zoom thru Mukilteo Blvd, crossing the Speedway to SR527 Boeing freeway, into the Receiving frontage Boeing perimeter road, thru Hardeson Rd, crossing Casino Rd, Everett Mall Blvd, right turn on 112th Ave SW into Admiralty Way connecting to and circling Lake Stickney for a quick downhill uphill climb.
Start location: Let's meet near the playground at Paine Field Community Park.
Reststop: N/A. Restroom available at Start and End of ride at the park.
Expectations: Arrive at least 15 minutes earlier or 10:45am to sign the waiver and hear the safety briefing. S.M.A.R.T. is the acronym we use for a safe and enjoyable ride together. Ride leader personally uses MapMyRide app and will briefly go thru the routes summary prior to the start.
Front and rear lights are recommended. Everyone should be able to maintain the 12-14 mph steady pace on flat terrain. Riders have to be independent when they have a flat and/or mechanical.
