Northside Evening Ride before Dark (NERD) rides will be held on Thursdays (when possible), at 6pm, from Lynnwood Transit Center. The goal is to offer midweek hill training to keep up strength for the longer weekend rides. Multiple paces are offered: Brisk (16-18mph), Moderate (14-16mph), and Steady (12-14mph).

We will be rolling promptly at 6:00pm, but please arrive with enough time to get ready to ride, sign the waiver and listen attentively to the safety speech before then. We'll be meeting at the SE corner of the Lynnwood Transit Center, next to the Interurban Trail. If it's your first time at Lynnwood TC, there is a second area SE of the bus area. Please check the map above for exact location.

There is a water fountain at ride start, and a single restroom open during the week, but it is often occupied. If you do need it, be sure to arrive with enough time to wait for it to be vacant.

Please note: Front and rear lights are recommended. The routes are designed to be completed around sunset but riders should be prepared in case of unforeseeable delay. Riders who do not have lights may be turned away for safety. Steady pace might shorten the route to be finished within a reasonable amount of daylight.

Riders should also know how to read a cue sheet, change a flat (and have the requisite equipment), and have a positive attitude! Please print a cue sheet and bring it with you. We will not be stopping to wait for mechanical failures so having a cue sheet is strongly recommended.

Check back for route details about 2 days before the ride.
