WEDNESDAYS-IN-MARCH is a mini-series to welcome the spring riding season.  There are 4 rides in this series, one for each Wednesday in March.

ROUTE:  This fourth and last ride of this mini-series stretches the length but eases up on the climbing!  Starting at Log Boom Park in Kenmore we’ll ride down to Marymoor (water/restrooms if needed), and down West Lake Sammamish for a refuelling break at Tully’s.  We’ll return up East Lake Sammamish, through Marymoor, and back to the start.

PACE: Riders should be able to maintain a moderate pace, 14-16 mph on flats with no wind.  Climb at your own pace, and we’ll regroup at the top.

PREPARE: Please bring equipment to fix a flat, and know how to use it.  We will try to wait for mechanicals but may not be able to wait for everything.  Make sure you know the way back, either by loading up your favorite GPS device and/or by printing out a cue sheet.

ARRIVE: Be ready to ride no later than 9:50am so you can sign in and hear the safety briefing before we roll at 10:00am.

WEATHER: Showers, steady rain, or any unsafe weather cancels.  Weather cancellation will be announced on the ride listing on cascade.org and meetup.com by 8:00am.  In case of cancellation the ride leader will not be at the ride start.  I will monitor my email and phone from 8:00am onwards.  Call before you leave home if you have questions.

Comments

Following David Fisher's lead on the Bellevue Zig-Zag ride, we'll also CANCEL due to weather.  Forecasts are still calling for 90% chance of rain, up to 0.25in accumulation.  Unfortunately not fun cycling weather.
