Come and check out the the beauty of Snohomish County; we will cover pretty much every corner! Routes start at 30 miles in December and increase to just over 60 miles by the end of March. The elevation averages 50ft/mile.

Route this week: The route goes through the Three Lake and Wood Creek area to Sultan. It then follows the Skykomish River to Monroe, it passes the Evergreen State Fairgrounds, climbs so we can catch a wonderful view on the descend of Mt Rainier at MP 40. The last section goes through flat farm land.

Stats: Steady pace, 48.6 miles, 2470ft elevation, the first part of the route is hilly; the second part is mostly flat.

Stops: MP 24.2 Sultan Bakery, MP 41.1 Lake Tye Park (restrooms only).

Expectations (important, please read!): Arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of the ride to sign the waiver and be part of the safety briefing. S.M.A.R.T. riding is the standard and all riders are held accountable for doing their best to adhere to these; we want to be awesome representatives of the bike community in Snohomish County and be safe! Front and rear lights are highly recommended! Riders should be able to maintain the posted pace. We regroup occasionally. Riders have to be independent when they have a flat and/or mechanical. Please print a cue sheet in case you get separated from the group and bring a charged cellphone if possible. All riders are responsible to promote a great experience by having a positive attitude, having fenders when the roads are wet or rain is in the forecast, enjoying the beauty we are surrounded by and just by having fun! Steady rain/snow cancels the ride. If the ride is canceled, it will be posted by 7:00 am in the comment section. In that case the ride leader(s) will not be at the start. Your RSVP on Meetup is much appreciated.
