Saturday Morning Rides in Snohomish County: Come and check out the the beauty of Snohomish County; we will cover pretty much every corner! Routes start at 30 miles in December and increase to just over 60 miles by the end of March. The elevation averages 50ft/mile.

Route this week: The route takes us along the coast on the Tulalip Reservation, pass farm country on the way to Arlington and then heads south over mostly flat terrain. Route will be finalized by 7pm on the Sunday prior to the ride. Stops: MP 14.4 Kayak Point (restrooms only), MP 27.5 Denny's

Expectations (important, please read!): Arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of the ride to sign the waiver and be part of the safety briefing. S.M.A.R.T. riding is the standard and all riders are held accountable for doing their best to adhere to these; we want to be awesome representatives of the bike community in Snohomish County and be safe! Front and rear lights are highly recommended! Riders should be able to maintain the posted pace. We regroup occasionally. Riders have to be independent when they have a flat and/or mechanical. Please print a cue sheet in case you get separated from the group and bring a charged cellphone if possible. All riders are responsible to promote a great experience by having a positive attitude, having fenders when the roads are wet or rain is in the forecast, enjoying the beauty we are surrounded by and just by having fun! Steady rain/snow cancels the ride. If the ride is canceled, it will be posted by 7:00 am in the comment section. In that case the ride leader(s) will not be at the start. Your RSVP on Meetup is much appreciated.

6am - No rain cancellation. Forecast keeps us dry till 11-12 (http://www.weather.com/weather/hourbyhour/l/USWA0261). The following is a very easy to follow short cut in case we are blessed with too much water:

If you Google "Jennings Park" for directions you will go to the wrong spot. Map/address above is correct. Take I-5 exit 199 and head east 1.1 miles. Turn left at the light (53rd Dr NE) and the fun will start (restrooms at the start).
