Join us for a 24-25 mile bike ride at a moderate pace (about 15-16 mph on the flats with equivalent effort on the hills) with re-groups on top of hills. Along the way, we'll visit Kerry Park, the Comstock Staircase (the "Grand Dame" of Seattle staircases)-carry bikes up, the Discovery Park Lighthouse, the "Indiana Jones Bridge", Sunset Park, and Green Lake. We will have some optional hills for those interested including: W. Blaine (#2 steepest in the city), Warren Ave N. (#5 steepest in the city), W. Bertona (#14 steepest in the city), 71st St. in Phinney Ridge, and a trail in David Rodgers Park that is probably steeper than any of them.
I will not be at the ride start should conditions be as noted in “Showers Cancels” above. I will announce the cancellation in the comments section below at least 2 hours prior to the ride start and will monitor my phone and/or email listed in the Contact information. If you have questions about the weather, please call (or email) before you leave for the ride.
