  • Attendance at the pre-ride safety briefing is required to participate in the ride.
  • If you have tested positive for COVID or have been exposed to someone with COVID, follow the quarantine and isolation guidelines. In general, if you have COVID or are displaying COVID symptoms, or if you are sick with the flu or a cold, you should not participate in group rides.
  • Carry a face covering in case a business or public transit requires their use.
  • Please, no spitting or “snot-rockets” while participating.
  • A CPSC certified helmet is required to be worn to participate.

As the name implies, this is a late afternoon ride for those who can make it there by the 4 pm start time. This will be a 29 mile training loop from Old Renton City Hall up to Fairwood, Petrovitsky, winding our way to the Renton highlands via the 154th Place hill and finally Lake Washington Blvd back to the start.  The pace will be as advertised (16-18 mph on the flats except when on the Cedar River Trail where we will maintain the posted speed limit) We will regroup at the top of hills and other key points along the route so no one will get dropped.  Route specifics can be found at the included link.  Hope you can make it.

Weather is looking might terrible.  Big storms moving through all day.  I will post here between 2:30 and 3 and let you know if you should even bother coming out.  I will be at the start no matter what but I don't have any fenders on my bike and am not going to ride in the rain.

Based on what I see out side and on the Doppler Radar I am going to cancel.  I will still go to the start in case anyone doesn't receive this.
