Ride from Snohomish to Everett and return via east of Ebey Island
A kick-back ride from hard training to enjoy rural scenery, discover new routes to familar places and visit some new ones.
Lunch in downtown Everett.
Pace will be moderate (14 - 16 on the flat) and we'll regroup now and then and at the top of hills. Most of the route is flat, but there are some hills (see elevation profile on map), but nothing awful. Partly on very rural roads, partly on uburban and partly on city streets. The bike route at the east end of Ebey Island is open again and there is a wide bike lane, but fast traffic for about 3 miles until the Bickford exit.
Print a map & cue from the link if desired or email leader for a pdf. There will be no map & cue at the start.
If there is a group consensus, we can take a 1/4 mile walk-your-bike on a gravel path to see Ebey "falls" or just move on when we get to the island.
