Are you doing the STP and think you are ready for the 'The Hill' in Puyallup that everyone talks about? One way to find out. On this ride we will start at the Sumner Fred Meyer (east end of parking lot next to garden center), we'll pick up the STP route and go from Sumner to Tenino. The ride to Tenino will trace the STP route including 'the Hill' in Puyallup, Spanaway, Hwy 507, Roy and the Yelm - Tenino Trail. Lunch will be in Yelm on the way through. Restrooms at start.

We will plan rest stops approx. 20 miles apart (give or take). This ride will give you a chance to be familiar with some of the STP route before you and 10,000 of your closest friends hit the road. It also is approximately the same distance and elevation as the STP Day 1.

RSVP on Cascade Meetup would be appreciated. Steady Rain Cancels. Pace: Moderate (14 - 16 MPH on the flats) Please bring tubes, tools etc, arrive early enough to prepare your bike, hear the SMART talk and roll out at 8:00 AM sharp.
