If you want to guage your fitness and ride some of the best hills in Seattle, this is the ride for you. Alki Loop is a ride around the Alki shoreline for warmup, and then and we hit some West Seattle hills. I'll shoot for 17-18mph on flats, but you can climb at your own pace. We will regroup at the top of hills - we will not drop anyone. Starting near the beach, this ride will start at Jack Block Park and head around Alki Point and down towards Fauntleroy ferry for a nice warmup. There is a nice climb up Marine View (with a rewarding view!) and then down a bit before heading up towards Burien. We then descend down Des Moines to the Duwamish Trail and back to Alki. Lights required. The route may vary from this, but it is representative of the rides.
