As the name implies, this is a late afternoon ride for those who can make it there by the 4 pm start time. This will be a 34.5 mile training loop from Old Renton City Hall up to Newcastle, Newport Way, along North Mercer Is and return via Lk WA Blvd, Seward park and Rainier Ave.  The pace will be as advertised (16-18 mph on the flats).  There is a long climb up to the Newcastle golf course which will be at your own pace.  We will regroup at the top of hills and other key points along the route so no one will get dropped.  Route specifics can be found at the included link.  Hope you can make it.
