A short training ride targeted at riders who need to work on their hill climbing.  Starting at the Environmental Learning Center in Discovery Park, we will warm up by riding the Magnolia loop clockwise, encountering a long 5 percent grade, rolling terrain, and excellent views of Puget Sound.  Then we will descend to West Point Lighthouse and come back up the steep road with a maximum 13 percent grade.  Then a climb to the highest point of the park to admire the view, and a descent to our starting point.  Please choose gearing appropriate for the 13 percent grade.
