  • 200 people joined Cascade for three days of bicycling, socializing, exploration, and wine tasting amidst the rolling hills, lush vineyards, and windswept wheatlands of southeastern Washington and northeastern Oregon.
  • Scroll through our Walla Walla Tour photo album to see the big smiles, blue skies, and verdant landscapes of Walla Walla country in springtime.
Riding my electric cargo bike is my favorite thing

big skies, windswept wheat fields and wide open roads

Cascade's three-day Tours are a favorite of many staff and board members for good reason: they are an affordable and accessible opportunity to pedal through Washington state's most scenic landscapes, taste its regional foods, and explore its charming communities with no more than 200 fellow participants who quickly become friends. If you missed out on the Walla Walla Tour, please consider registering for our Port Townsend or Lake Chelan tours.

Scroll down to see some of our favorite photos of the landscapes, farmlands, faces, and smiles of Walla Walla 2024.

The cloud structure added an immense beauty to the tour.
Amid the undulating hills lie green valleys with trees and grasses, birds and wildlife, farmhouses, barns, grain silos, horses, tractors, and combines.

Eager to do more Cascade Tours
Walla Walla was the first tour or Cascade event for this lovely couple, whom I met on Day Three. They are eager to sign up for the Port Townsend or Lake Chelan Tour after having a fantastic experience in Walla Walla.

Jos and Sarah
Cascade staff members Jos Johnson and Sarah Mantey worked long hours to ensure that everyone had a great time in Walla Walla. Here they are serving gourmet sandwiches with a smile during the Day Three lunch stop.

Our Winthrop Gravel Tour is sold out, but there are still spaces available for our Port Townsend (Aug. 16-18) and Lake Chelan (Sept. 27-29) tours. Riding Cascade's three-day tours is a great way to learn about Washington state's scenic and historic landscapes and seascapes while being fully supported with lunch and hydration stops, mechanical aid and vehicle support should you flat or falter. Participants can feel good knowing that these tours--and all of our paid rides--are fund raisers for Cascade's bike advocacy and education efforts.

Now let's roll out with more images from southeastern Washington and northeastern Oregon.
