The shorter days and inclement weather don't have to put a damper on your biking adventures. Ride in the Rain offers a series of community events geared to add brightness and camaraderie throughout the month of November.
Below is an overview of what we have planned this year. Stay safe and have fun, no matter the weather!
Bike Lane Cleanup
Help to make biking around Seattle safer this fall by clearing leaves from the bike lanes on Wednesday, Nov. 18.
We'll provide coffee and snacks to jumpstart a fun day of volunteering. Keep lanes clean for Cranksgiving riders to deliver food to food banks!
Free Group Rides
Rain doesn't deter our fearless Free Group Ride Leaders! Free Group Rides continue throughout the month of November and all year long. Keep an eye out for special Ride in the Rain-themed events, like the return of the hot cocoa post-ride social hour at Cascade HQ.
Cranksgiving
Each year, teams of people participate in the Seattle Bike Blog's food drive/scavenger hunt on bicycle, which Cascade helps support. Complete challenges, buy grocery items, and deliver them to our partner food banks! Celebrate your success at an afterparty at Central Cinema.
