Hidden member gems at Cascade Bicycle Club

Did you know there’s an official Member Room awaiting you at the Cascade Bicycle Club headquarters? 

It’s one of the always-available perks we hope our members will seek out (during business hours, that is). It’s a place where you can relax with some coffee or tea from our kitchen while you peruse our collection of bicycle themed books and magazines--or just hang out and chat with your riding buddies. 

The idea for the special room originated with the plans to move into the current office space back in late 2014. With the new office situated right off the Burke-Gilman Trail and near the north shore of Lake Washington, Cascade staff wanted to have a designated space for welcoming visitors to the beautiful new view. 

But the Member Room isn’t the only perk available to Cascade members. Premium level members receive discounts on rides, classes, and summer camps, plus more discounts at several community retailers. Champion level members receive even more great benefits such as free companion registrations, happy hour socials, and customized apparel. 

In spite of all the goodies and perks, a lot of Cascade members tell us the best part of being a member is supporting the Club’s education, advocacy and rides programming. Annual fees from paid membership levels help directly support programs that get more people on bikes--programs like Let’s Go, the Major Taylor Project, Free Group Rides, and our many advocacy initiatives that connect communities and create safer places to ride.
