Regarding the Bike Master Plan Implementation Plan Delay

Cascade Bicycle Club's statement in regards to the Bicycle Master Plan Implementation Plan delay:

“We are encouraged and excited about the progress we've seen on Westlake Avenue and Mayor Murray's plan to speed up the desperately needed safety improvements on 2nd Ave as the launch of Pronto Cycle Share approaches. We believe the implementation plan is absolutely necessary to ensure investments and projects achieve the five goals the BMP -- safety, connectivity, ridership, equity and livability. We will continue to contribute in a positive, proactive way to implement the BMP -- which we believe is one of the best plans in the country – and we, like coulcilmember Rasmussen and SDOT head Kubly, look forward to quick next steps on implementation.”
