Survey crews working along the Foothills Trail

If you ride along the Foothills Trail in Puyallup, exercise extra caution in the coming weeks. Contractors with Puget Sound Energy will be conducting survey work along the trail starting Monday, June 16, and the studies will last about two weeks.

Puget Sound Energy is scouting in preparation for a new powerline, and crews will be working 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Crews will be using heavy machinery and there will be workers along the trail, so please keep an eye out for signage and flaggers.

Be safe and take it slow.
