Advocacy Leadership Institute is coming to South Snohomish County

Imagine your dream neighborhood. Does it have protected bike lanes, a connected trail system and streets that are safe for everyone?  Ours does too. And that’s why we are working to make sure that vision becomes a reality -- by being an advocate.

You can become an advocate for safe streets, too.

But there are many people, just like you, that don’t know where to start. That's why we are bringing Cascade's grassroots leadership development program – the Advocacy Leadership Institute (ALI) to South Snohomish County. At ALI you will get to discuss local projects, brainstorm with your neighbors and learn key skills on how to advocate for bicycling.

We will be hosting a one day ALI session from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Swedish Edmonds (Third Floor Conference Room) on Sunday, Nov. 17.  Interested in joining us?  Sign up here >>

Without people like you pushing for things like cycle tracks, greenways, and safer intersections in your neighborhood, we'll continue to trail behind other cities that are building streets that make bicycling safe and convenient for everyone.
