Walk to the Block Party:

On Saturday, Sept. 14, Kirkland Greenways members will take a look at the proposed Rose Hill greenway by foot.
Starting at 2:15 p.m. from Mark Twain Elementary, the walk will head south to Rose Hill Elementary before ending the last leg of the walk at the Block Party held at Lake Washington United Methodist Church. This will be a slow-paced, family-friendly walk, aimed at taking a close look at the features (and faults) of the proposed Rose Hill greenway.

Hosted by Kirkland Greenways and other nonprofits,  the Community Block Party will feature food, games, bouncy-inflatables, free bike-maintenance, live music, face-painting, kids crafts and more.  The party will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. at Lake Washington United Methodist Church, 7525 132nd Ave NE.

Come party with your neighbors!
