Linden Avenue cycle track is complete!

SDOT announced that Seattle's first urban cycle track is now complete! Built along Linden Avenue North between N 128th

and N 145th Street, the cycle track completes the missing link of the interurban trail.

Linden Avenue North, redeveloped into a “neighborhood-friendly corridor”, also features a re-designed roadway that calms traffic and organizes parking, all LED lighting, bio-rentention swales implementing green stormwater codes,  new sidewalks, crosswalks, landscaping and more.

Mayor Mike McGinn and SDOT officials are hosting an opening celebration on Saturday, July 13, and everyone’s invited!

The celebration will take place in front of the Bitter Lake Community Center, 13035 Linden Avenue North, from 10 a.m. till noon. Expect family fun and neighborhood cheer! The first 200 people in attendance will receive a raffle ticket for area gift certificates.
